A popular hiking trail at the Summersville Lake in West Virginia, is the Long Point Trail. The trail is a 4 mile round trip hike, carrying you through wooded, areas covered in hardwood trees, pines, and mountain laurel. The marked trail is wide, and is an easy walk. The end of the trail opens up onto a ledge of rocks at the point, where gorgeous panoramic views of the lake can be seen.
